Academic Committee

The Academic Committee is responsible for the coordination of the Doctorate Program in Condensed Matter Physics, Nanoscience and Biophysics, assessing and validating prospective PhD students’ applications, supervising the progress of the students research training, and authorizing the defense of doctoral theses.

Prof. Juan Carlos Cuevas Rodríguez (UAM). Department of Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics. Research line: First principles simulation and modeling.

Prof. Jaime Ferrer Rodríguez (Univ. de Oviedo, Local Coordinator). Research line: First principles simulation and modeling.

Prof. Jaime V. Colchero Paetz (Vocal Univ. de Murcia, Local Coordinator). Research line: Experimental characterization of molecular, nanoscopic and biological systems.
